DANGER!! These “Harmless” Ingredients Found in Most Skincare Products Are Destroying Your Skin?

(And adding years to your appearance)

thumbs trishofficialsmall DANGER! Is Your Skin Being Destroyed? My name is Trisha Crespo and I’m a 50+ year old. I want to share my experience, and help you avoid useless products that not only don’t work, but actually destroy your skin. I have been using many different facial products and I have discovered through the research of Women’s Health Letter expert, Dr. Nan Kathryn Fuchs, a totally unexpected finding.. Now consider this:

Would you scrub your face with a corrosive chemical? I think not….but there’s a dirty little secret hidden in your everyday skin care products that skin care manufacturers would have you believe are “harmless” ingredients. These ingredients actually destroy and roughen your complexion as if you did scrub your face with a corrosive chemical!

What’s worse is that skin care manufacturers know exactly what they’re doing. Why do they do it? It’s cheaper to produce their products, and in the short term, it works. However, the long term result is that YOUR skin pays a terrible price for THEIR benefits.

Over time, you’ll see more, not fewer signs of aging….more wrinkles, age spots, crow’s feet, sagging skin, and other visible results of this assault on your complexion.

The Dirty Secret Hidden Inside Your Cosmetics!

Most commercial cosmetic products contain petroleum-based oils, the exact stuff we get gasoline from, in their bases. These oils dissolve your skin’s natural oils, allowing moisture to evaporate from your skin. They also contain surfactants, commonly known as SOAP. Most cosmetic companies disguise their formulas by using the chemical name. All the names will include some form of “sulphate” such as sodium lauryl sulphate and ammonium lauryl sulphate.

Their job is to sit on your skin until they strip off the protective cells, so the other “harmless” ingredients in the formula can penetrate. Once these surfactants are done stripping your skin, the young delicate cells underneath are left vulnerable to free radicals and other elements that damage and age your skin….and it gets worse.

More Ingredients Your Skincare Should NEVER Include

Ethanolamines (Monoethanolamine aka MEA, Diethanolamine aka DEA, Triethanolamine aka TEA: these are common ph stabilizers, which when exposed to oxygen/air form nitrosoamines may be irritating and/or toxic. Mineral oil, which is petroleum derived, blocks pores and interferes with normal skin function. Synthetic color, which serves no useful purpose, may be dangerous for long-term use.

You will see them labeled as FD&C, or D&C followed by a color and a number, i.e. FD&C Red No.6. Others contain artificial ingredients, which are chemicals, designed to cover the broadest possible range of skin conditions. What happens to the unused excess chemicals that your skin does not need? They’re eventually absorbed by your body—and wind up in your bloodstream!

Your Skin Pays a Terrible Price

In the short term, these products may make your skin look better for a while, but it becomes harder for your skin to repair itself, and more difficult to keep your skin healthy and young looking. Check out your cosmetic bottles, I was stunned to see how many of these ingredients were in the items I had used. Until recently, women were doomed to look older than their years…Many have offered “solutions” but all of them are “cover-up” approaches, aspirins for the face. If you check out my next post, I’ll tell you about a “real deal.”

Very interesting and I do believe that many products do strip your skin and are harsh and bad for you. I also want to say your article is too long, just a suggestion, nobady has that much time to read about a new product. Good luck and keep in touch. CCW
