A New Income, A New Life!

Many of us are faced with the unexpected. Sometimes it can be pretty painful like the loss of a dear one, an illness or an accident. Or, it can be painful, but perhaps less “dangerous” like losing your job, your 401K, your pensions or your life savings.

I say “less dangerous” not because I make little of the pain and suffering, the fear and uncertainty, the precariousness of our daily lives which such a change will invariably produce, but because unlike death, serious illness or tragic accident, it is fixable.

If you can think, are not in pain, still have a roof over your head and food in your fridge, there are numerous ways to create money . . .possibly a big hunk of money. None of them is likely to be quick, overnight or “immediate,” but some can start getting some cash flow going in short order and develop into a big business given time, intelligence and dedication. You get nothing for nothing and there is no free lunch. Please remember that, no matter how sweetly anyone tries to tell you otherwise.

What Works Today

In a recent interview, Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki (Author of “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”) stated that they were very concerned that the rich are getting richer, but America is getting poorer; however, they both agreed that the only way open to creating major wealth in this decade and the next if you are not already rich, is through network marketing. Many people totally misunderstand what this system presently is and they simply dismiss the idea in ignorance thinking “pyramid scheme,” and “ponzi scheme” (laughably) and it is neither.

There is no “scheme” first of all, and as far as “pyramid” is concerned you need to take a look at any corporation. Each is a rigid pyramid with one person on top, keeping all others below by wit, guile, ability and strength; your chance of rising up to get the extreme wealth these CEO’s pull in? You tell me.

And a Ponzi scheme is where you bring in new people’s money to pay the older people creating an illusion that the money is being earned somehow when in fact it is not (Bernie Madoff), This is absolutely not network marketing!

No, today’s network marketing businesses are designed more like a franchise operation. Everyone creates his own mini franchise.. just like McDonald’s, etc. The people who are above you (upline) want you to get as rich as you can because they benefit without any additional cost to you . . .ever! In fact, it is frequently the case that someone you bring in (your “downline”) is making a bloody fortune, significantly more than you yourself. This is definitely not the way corporate American works, definitely NOT a pyramid!

Some people really take to these businesses, but in my experience most fall off the bus pretty quick since the traditional way of marketing these is through direct contact with all your family, friends, and relatives, or if you have the personality, cold calls, canvassing and “mall” mauling. This gets tired pretty quickly for most of us. Actually it is more like following dinosaur marketing in the age of the internet.

Fear Not!

Is there an alternative? You bet. New ways are being created every day to market these deals to people on the web where you are able to reach potentially millions and not have to face rejection . . it’s all numbers. You create different types of websites and blogs (don’t be scared . .it’s easier than you imagine and if necessary you can always pay someone to do it for you) and by learning how to develop large lists of potential customers and collaborators use these lists to generate income (can be modest, can be huge . . how much do you want to work it?). Affiliate marketing, Pay per Click, Ad Sense, on-line stores, e-books and many other methods all may seem like Greek at first but you will be surprised how simple it all fits together once you spend some time with it.
