Once these surfactants are done stripping your skin, the young delicate cells underneath are left vulnerable to free radicals and other elements that damage and age your skin….and it gets worse.

More Ingredients Your Skincare Should NEVER Include

Ethanolamines (Monoethanolamine aka MEA, Diethanolamine aka DEA, Triethanolamine aka TEA: these are common ph stabilizers, which when exposed to oxygen/air form nitrosoamines may be irritating and/or toxic. Mineral oil, which is petroleum derived, blocks pores and interferes with normal skin function. Synthetic color, which serves no useful purpose, may be dangerous for long-term use.

You will see them labeled as FD&C, or D&C followed by a color and a number, i.e. FD&C Red No.6. Others contain artificial ingredients, which are chemicals, designed to cover the broadest possible range of skin conditions. What happens to the unused excess chemicals that your skin does not need? They’re eventually absorbed by your body—and wind up in your bloodstream!

In the short term, these products may make your skin look better for a while, but it becomes harder for your skin to repair itself, and more difficult to keep your skin healthy and young looking.
